The National Association of Professionals would like to create a simple Directory of Contacts with the following requirements: 

  1. They only would like Contacts with an Annual Engagement Score of 100 or higher to be visible in the Directory.
  2. They want a banner image of their logo (Image 1), but no logo image will be necessary.
  3. This will be a data driven Directory (Table View), with 5 results displayed per page.
  4. It must have the following Column headers: Full Name, City, State, Membership Type, and Number of Years.
  5. Front end users should be able to search in this Directory by First Name, Last Name, and Full Name.
  6. They would like this Directory to be available to the general public.
  7. Users of the Directory should also be able to print the list of results when visiting the Directory in the front end.
  8. Detail Page, GeoLocation View, and Enhanced List View should NOT be enabled. 

How would the National Association of Professionals Create this Directory? 

Prerequisites

  1. From the App Picker, [Select] Directories.
  2. From the Directories tab, [Click] the New button.
  1. They only would like Contacts with an Annual Engagement Score of 100 or higher to be visible in the Directory.
    1. From the Create a New Directory modal, in the Primary Object field, [Search and Select] Contact. In the Display Name field, [Type] Directory of Contacts and [Click] the Save and Continue button.
    2. In the Data section of the Display tab, from the Object drop down field, [Select] Contact.
    3. In the Data section of the Display tab, [Click] the Filter Criteria button. 
    4. In the Create a Filter modal, [Enter] the following values in the corresponding fields: Field: Annual Engagement Score, Operator: Greater than or Equal to, Value: 100. [Click] the Save button. 

  2. They want a banner image of their logo (Image 1), but no logo image will be necessary.
    1. From the Display tab, next to the Banner Image field, [Click] the Browse button. [Select] Image 1 from the Media Library
    2. From the Crop Image modal, [Crop] the image as desired and [Click] the Save button.

  3. This will be a data driven Directory (Table View), with 5 results displayed per page.
    1. From the Table tab, [Check] the Enable Table View checkbox (this box should be checked by default). 
    2. From the Table tab, in the Display Results field, [Enter] 5

  4. It must have the following Column headers: Full Name, City, State, Membership Type, and Number of Years.
    1. From the Table tab, [Drag and Drop] the following fields from the Available Fields text box to the Selected Fields text box: 
      1. Full Name
      2. Billing City
      3. Billing State
      4. Billing Country
      5. Work Email

  5. Front end users should be able to search in this Directory by First Name, Last Name, and Full Name.
    1. From the Search, Filter, & Sort tab, [Drag and Drop] the following fields from the Available Search Fields text box to the Selected Search Fields text box: 
      1. First Name
      2. Last Name
      3. Full Name

  6. They would like this Directory to be available to the general public.
    1. In the Visibility section of the Display tab, [Confirm] that the Authenticated Users Only checkbox is unchecked. 

  7. Users of the Directory should also be able to print the list of results when visiting the Directory in the front end.
    1. From the Table tab, [Check] the Enable List Print checkbox.

  8. Detail Page, GeoLocation View, and Enhanced List View should NOT be enabled. 
    1. From the Enhanced List tab, [Uncheck] the Enable Enhanced List View checkbox. 
    2. From the GeoLocation tab, [Uncheck] the Enable Geo Location Display checkbox. 
    3. From the Detail tab, [Check] the Disable Detail View checkbox. 

Final Step

From the top-right corner of the Builder, [Hover] your mouse over the downward pointing arrow next to the Save button. [Click] Save and Exit.
