Event Registration Component
Introduction
For Multi-Currency enabled orgs: If you change your currency while tickets are in your Shopping Cart, you will receive a warning that your cart will be emptied. If you confirm the change, your currency will change and your cart will be emptied. You will have to register for your event again.
The Event Registration Component is where you will first encounter an event you'd like to register for. This component is a part of the Event Overview page. You can learn more about components on the Pages page.
The Event Registration Component displays an overview of the event as well as options to begin registration. There are multiple paths to registration depending on the event. Invitations, types of tickets, and whether or not the event is free will factor in to how you access the Event Registration Component. Below are the different aspects of an event that will determine how you will experience the Event Registration Component.
Invitation (Public and Private Events)
An event is either Private or Public. All Private events require an invitation to access the event and register. Guests can also be invited to Public events, but an invitation is not required to access the event or register.
Invitations are sent via email with a link to RSVP to the event. Clicking the link will navigate the invited guest to the Event Overview page with the option to accept or decline the invitation. Invitees to Private Events will be required to first log in to their account before registering.

Click Accept to accept the invitation and begin registration.
Click Decline to decline the invitation. Your response will be marked as declined.
