Creating a Default Shipping Region
A Default Shipping Region will be used as a default when a Shipping Region is not defined. This can be used as a "catch all" to ship anywhere that has not been defined in any existing/active Shipping Regions.
A Default Shipping Region must be created before a staff user can create a Shipping Rate.
Create a Default Shipping Region:
Navigate to the Shipping Regions tab and click the New button. The New Shipping Region modal will open.
Type a Shipping Region Name. The name will appear in the Shipping Rates lookup.
Optionally, type a Display Name.
Check the Is Default Region checkbox. Leave the Address Field Values (CSV) field blank when enabling Is Default Region.
The Default Shipping Region will now be referenced for any value that is not found within any other Shipping Region.
