When a sales order is created for an Account, the Primary Contact is applied as the Billing and Shipping contact. You now have the option to display the Account Name in the Billing and Shipping contact fields for these orders. This article describes how to create Custom Metadata Types to change the Billing and Shipping contact display names on Account-level Sales Orders.

Custom Metadata Types can be used to display the Account Name in the Billing Contact field, the Shipping Contact field, or both.

  • The Account Primary Contact name displays in the Billing or Shipping Contact fields on the Sales Order by default.

  • The Account Name will be displayed in the Billing or Shipping contact fields on the Sales Order if you create Custom Metadata Types for each field.

Prerequisite

Fonteva release 21Winter0.22 and later.

Create Custom Metadata Entry
