You should set up the known profiles needed for your organization. If there are other profiles you need to create, now is a good time to do so.

  1. Navigate to Setup Users Profiles.

  2. Click Clone the following user profile: Customer Community Login User or Customer Community User. At the beginning, name each new profile “Fonteva” or “MemberNation” or the name of your organization. Name the original profile at the end (see screenshot).



  3. Next, click Edit on each cloned Profile and scroll down to the Administrative Permissions section.

  4. Verify the Password Never Expires checkbox is unchecked in order for new community users to specify a password when logging into the community for the first time. Click Save.



If Password Never Expires is checked, it can cause login issues in the portal. This should never be checked.
