What is the difference between a patch release and a major release?
A.
Patch releases resolve bugs and issues and are released biweekly. Major releases provide new features and improvements and are released about twice a year. Both are available from the Product Updates dashboard in Spark Admin. The available patch release always lists at the top of the list, and the major release lists beneath the patch release.
Important: When staff users select the Upgrade button, the same Upgrade Package confirmation message displays. This message does not indicate whether a patch or major release is being updated. To avoid accidentally choosing the wrong package, double check whether you are selecting the patch or major release package before beginning the update.

How can I tell which version my org is currently using?
A.
If the org is up to date, the version number displays at the head of the Product Updates page.
If the org is not up to date, the current version displays under the upgrade button.
