Portal users on the frontend and staff users on the backend can now directly create Mandates for Direct Debits without processing an order first. A credit card payment can also now be required for the first payment of an installment plan when users set up a new Mandate. Since a first payment can take up to twelve days to process, the credit card payment for the first installment ensures a timely first payment. This creates a smoother process for using Direct Debits.


Portal users will be able to create Mandates from their Profile in the Payment Methods menu tab, and staff users can create Mandates for members through the Payment Methods related list.
